For sellers
Sell to a group that’s already decided.
Popular Demand gathers people who want the same thing and invites you to quote one group price. You set the price, the minimum and the deadline. If enough of them commit, you get a batch of paid orders, with no ad spend to find them.

How it works for sellers
You set the terms. The group meets them, or it doesn’t.
Nothing binds you until you approve a quote, and nothing is charged unless the deal goes ahead.
- 1 · InvitedA private linkWe send one group request: counts, places and timing for one product.
- 2 · DraftYour quoteOne price if at least N units commit, your capacity and a deadline. Draft it yourself, or let your agent.
- 3 · ApproveMake it bindingA person on your team signs in and approves it here. We check it, then buyers see it.
- 4 · CommitCard holdsBuyers it fits authorize a hold in your own Stripe checkout. You watch the count.
- 5 · ReconfirmOne clickIn the 24 hours before charging, confirm you still have the capacity.
- 6 · DeadlineCharge and shipEnough committed: every hold is charged and you ship. Too few: every hold is released.
What you see
Real demand, counted honestly.
Enough to price well. Nothing that identifies a buyer, and nothing about your competitors.
You see
- Exact people and units, by state. Each person counts once.
- Interested, ready to commit, and committed, kept apart
- A sourced reference price, and how your draft compares
- Your deals, orders and payouts, in one seller portal
You don’t
- Anyone’s name or contact before they check out
- Anyone’s price limit, alone or in ranges
- Other sellers’ quotes: no rank, price or count
- Buyers’ conversations with their agents
Getting paid, and shipping
Your Stripe. Your shipping tools.
Holds land on your own Stripe account and you’re the merchant of record. When a deal goes ahead, download one shipping file your tools already import, then upload the tracking numbers back.
Works with ShipStation, Shippo, Pirate Ship, Easyship, Veeqo and Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment, or any spreadsheet. You keep your own returns, warranty and delivery terms.
What it costs
2% of what’s charged. Nothing else.
Popular Demand takes 2% of each captured order; refunds reverse it. No listing fee and no subscription.
Your agent can help
It drafts. A person approves.
Connect your company’s AI agent to read your invitations and draft quotes. It can ask your team to approve, but only a person, signed in on Popular Demand, can make a quote binding.
Seller agent address
Separate from the buyer address, with its own sign-in and approval. REST at /api/seller.
Fair questions
What sellers usually ask.
- Won’t this undercut my list price?
- Group prices go only to the people in the group, for that deadline. Popular Demand does not publish your group price on public market pages.
- Do I need stock up front?
- No. You state your capacity, holds stop when it’s reached, and you reconfirm it the day before charging. Without that click, every hold is released.
- Will I see what competitors quoted?
- No. Quotes are sealed: no rank, price or count of other sellers, before or after. Nobody else sees yours either.
- What if a card fails after the deal goes ahead?
- You proceed with the rest at the same price. That’s in the seller agreement you accept before your first binding quote.
- Can buyers back out?
- Until your minimum is first reached, yes. From then on, holds stay until the deadline.
- Who are the buyers?
- People, mostly through their own AI agents, who said what they want before any offer existed. Each one’s agent checks your offer against what they asked for.

Getting started
We invite sellers one at a time.
Tell us what you sell. When a group forms that you could serve, we send you a private link and walk through your first quote with you.
